At Farm Hype, our mission is to provide delicious, healthy, and sustainably-grown fruits to our community and beyond. We believe in the power of nature’s bounty and are committed to farming practices that respect the environment and promote biodiversity.

Farming Hype Farms, founded in 2011 by John and Molly Chester, now covers 234 acres of countryside in Moorpark, California, just 40 miles north of Los Angeles. We regenerate the land by cultivating over 200 varieties of fruits and vegetables and raising cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, and ducks with care on pastures and within orchards. We strive to work in harmony (or a comfortable level of disharmony) with the dynamic ecosystem that integrates our farm. The farm is certified organic and biodynamic.
Farmers Markets
WE’VE EXPANDED! Our On-Farm Farmstand is now open both Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Guests are welcome to take a self-guided tour of our regenerative market garden, enjoy the children’s playground, and have a picnic on the beautiful garden lawn while visiting.
We offer a wide selection of certified Organic & Biodynamic produce from our gardens and orchards, pasture-raised beef, pork, chicken, and lamb, and of course, pastured eggs. Some of our produce and Honey Lemonades are also available at select local grocers throughout the LA and Ventura County areas.
